The Democratic party stands to re-gain control of the United
States Senate this November if six if these seven vulnerable
Republicans are defeated by their sensible rivals. The Democrats
already have one seat won, since Democrat Ned Lamont or Independent
Joe Lieberman is going to win in Connecticut. Here are The
Eight:
Joe Lieberman (I) Connecticut
James Talent (R) Missouri
Conrad Burns (R) Montana
Mike DeWine (R) Ohio
Rick Santorum (R Pennsylvania
Lincoln Chafee (R) Rhode Island
Bill Frist (R) Tennessee
George Allen (R) Virginia

GEORGE ALLEN: a Rick Santorum wanna be. Luckily he's an arrogant motormouth„a few more "macaca" remarks might make his race against award winning journalist, Marine and decorated Vietnam veteran JAMES WEBB truly competitive. It would be hard to find a more likeable candidate than Webb, an intelligent, honest and thorough person who has spent his life either fighting for his country as a Marine or speaking truth to power as a foreign war correspondent. Unfortunately, he trails Allen 10:1 in fundraising, a big gap to overcome no matter how intellectually stunted your opponent is.
JAMES WEBB (VA)
